Welcome to the WORLD TAEKWONDO MOODUKKWAN HEADQUARTERS and the WORLD TAEKWONDO MOODUKKWAN CENTRAL SUCCESSION ASSOCIATION. Located in the beautiful city of Daejeon, Chungcheong region, this building is the oldest surviving original martial arts gymnasium in Korea. It is home to the Moodukkwan family, composed of members practicing Taekwondo, Tangsoodo and Soobahk. Originally founded in 1947, it is considered a national historic/cultural landmark, and is still used today for various occasions such as celebrations, demonstrations, etc. and has become a martial arts Mecca and tourist attraction.
